2nd LTA in Wolfsberg, Austria

The day had come and it was time for us to host the 2nd LTA, Learning Teaching Activity, at our school in Wolfsberg, Austria. Unfortunately for some of our guests it was a very late arrival on Monday 21 May 2018, which also happened to be a national holiday. However, the next day everyone was full of energy and gathered at the InspireLab in Klagenfurt to get to know each other and hear a little bit about how to start a business. Our school was still closed that day but we used the time in Klagenfurt to visit a social restaurant called Mag'das (like that). This restaurant gives people who have trouble finding a job otherwise the possibility to train as waiters and kitchen assistants. The next day it was time to present each other in front of all our school's students and special guests. There was no shortage of work, however, since we needed to get our business plans finished as best as possible. Our students are experts in the field of business and helped our guests write their plans. Thursday morning was spent working on the topic of marketing and ICT. The afternoon was a wonderful encounter with people with disabilities from the care center "Lebenshilfe" close to our school. The second year (2CHH) under the guidance of our wonderful Mr. Schönhart organised a beautiful afternoon all of us could enjoy. After another day's work on Friday we spent some time in Graz and at the chocolate-factory Zotter on Saturday. In Graz, we said goodbye to our Greek and Czech guests. On Sunday it was time to send our remaining guests off to their hometowns. Again, we learned a lot, made new friends and developed the project further.

A big thank you to all the teachers at our school who helped make this week so effortless and memorable.
