1st LTA in Sao Joao da Madeira, Portugal

Finally it was time for our first LTA, Learning Teaching Activity, in Sao Joao da Madeira, Portugal. The teachers Mrs. Kienleitner, Mr. Müller and the students Sarah Steinkellner, Sarah Forjan and Tobias Braatz went from Klagenfurt to Porto on 11 March 2018. It took three flights and a bus-ride to arrive in Sao Joao da Madeira but all our students were greeted by wonderful families. Our week in Portugal was busy and there was much to learn and see between getting to know each other, workshops (creating a marketing plan, working with ICT, the Red Noses Portugal!), seeing the school, visiting the elderly and exploring the wonderful city of Porto. At the end of the week all of us would have liked to stay a little longer but it was time to go back home and prepare for the next LTA, at our school in Wolfsberg.
